We value our security and that of our customers.  As part of our ongoing security efforts, ILS-INC is now NIST SP 800-171 compliant as currently required under the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 252.204-7012, and we are also actively working toward Level 3 CMMC compliance.

NIST, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, provides standards and guidelines to protect information and information systems, ensuring security best practices for various industries.  In particular, NIST compliance helps to ensure the security of an organization’s infrastructure.

CMMC, or Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification, is a cybersecurity standard put in place by the Department of Defense (DoD). Specifically, these requirements apply to defense contractors who work with Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).

ILS-INC is currently seeking Level 3 CMMC compliance, which requires good cyber hygiene practices and managed processes. At least 130 controls must be in place in order to achieve Level 3 compliance.  As we pursue this high level of cybersecurity, we are actively documenting new policies and practices to ensure our employees always have access to the information needed to protect our work and that of our customers.  We are pleased to offer this benefit to our DoD and commercial clients alike.

At ILS-INC, we take security seriously, and we look forward to continuing our security efforts as we approach Level 3 CMMC compliance.
