E-Learning is a type of technology-supported education/learning (TSL) where the medium of instruction is through computer technologies and may be offered as self-paced, instructor-led, or combined methods. Self-paced E-Learning allows students to progress at their own pace permitting them to manage when they study and minimizing work-related disruptions. Content may consist of computer-based training or web-based training delivered using web pages, multimedia presentations, computer applications, video, and other technologies. Instructor-led E-Learning uses technology to deliver more-traditional classes to remote students in real-time. This is done via the use of teleconferencing, web-conferencing, audio conferencing, chat, screen-sharing, electronic whiteboards, and similar resources. Facilitated E-Learning combines self-paced and instructor-led E-Learning in a cohesive package. The advantages of self-paced material delivery are combined with the benefit of having an instructor guide the learner throughout their studies. In addition to the technologies used in self-paced and instructor-led E-Learning, facilitated E-Learning often provides both synchronous and asynchronous communication options such as email and discussion forums, between the instructor and the learner and between individual and groups of learners. Our trainers are adept in the delivery of self-paced, instructor-led, and facilitated E-Learning training programs.
